This Labor Day weekend while Loretta was in San Fran, I was racing on my Stand-up Board. The race was hosted by a club Loretta and I started with Todd and Noe Yamashita called Molokai Ohana Surf Club aka MOSC. The race was called Molokai Holokai. There were a couple of divisions, but I ended up entering the 14 foot stock. From the start of the race I was in the front pack. As I got deeper into the race, some guys pulled away from me. In the end, I got fifth overall out of about 30 competitors. However, I got 2nd place in my division. The race ended with pupu's at Hotel Molokai and an awesome awards ceremony.
